Galina Snitkovsky Obituary
Galina is deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by her adored and adoring "nuclear" family: husband of 56 years, Fedor, daughter Polina (with her husband Sergey in Delaware) and son Boris (Benyomin) with his wife Miriam, their seven children and two grandchildren in Israel; as well as her beloved niece Natasha (Ilonochka) in Las Vegas and cousins in Israel. She was preceded in death by her parents and most recently by her brother Peter.
A woman of remarkable memory and care, Galina had an extraordinary gift: she remembered every birthday and anniversary of everyone she knew, their children, spouses and parents. She was always the first to call with warm wishes or thoughtful words. Her attentiveness and sincere caring made each person feel seen and cherished.
Galina lived for her family, and now her family has to learn to live without her.
She will be sorely missed by numerous friends and extended family across the United States, Russia, Israel and Germany.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Jewish Community Cemetery, 401 Foulk Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
In lieu of flowers, may we suggest a donation to American Stroke Association.

Hi Polina so sorry it took sooo long to reach you here. I loved your mother, my Sweet Galina, she is my joy whenever I saw her smiling face. She was so thoughtful always calling me when she had some helpful information to share or place to go. We would go together. I will miss her greatly. A few years ago I was with Galina Borisovna in Karlovy Vary. We had a great time in a beautiful city and I was glad to share these wonderful moments her. Galina Borisovna was such a sweet, caring and kind person. She and Fedor Volkovich were very lovely couple and will always be an example to me of a long and happy marriage.

It´s an extremely sad news to hear our beloved Galina has left this world. She has been a kind, caring and a very thoughtful friend to my mother Nora. Awww I was saddened to hear of the passing of my co-worker friend Galina. She was alway so sweet to me. One of my favorite memories I have of her was on my bday many years ago, I didn´t work in the same office with her at that time, but she called me, as she ALWAYS did. She said to me, in her soft voice "Hey Lorez do you know it´s your birthday". Boy that made me laugh and smile sooo much. I will miss hearing from her. May she rest in paradise.
