Garry BIGRAS Obituary
Passed away peacefully and suddenly at his waterfront home, where he was happiest, on August 4, 2016 at 42 years of age. Cherished son of Bonnie Bigras (Dennis Jee), and the late Garry Bigras (2012). Husband of Jana Bigras. Loving father of Jessica Bigras (Will Gyurindak). Adored grandpa of Myla. Dear brother of Lisa and David DeSantis. Loving "crazy uncle Garry" of Emma and Noah DeSantis. He will be sadly missed by his best friend Danielle, many family members, especially his uncle Mel, and cousins Jamie and Melanie. Garry was full tilt in everything he did. He was the life of the party and his youthful spirit and crazy sense of humour were truly infectious. Garry loved and was welcomed into his waterfront community where he took pride in maintaining the horseshoe pits and raking the beach. His love for his granddaughter Myla was evident as she was his pride and joy. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 11 - 1 p.m. at

My deepest sympathy goes out to Gary's family and friends, I knew Gary as a young crazy kid who was part of our youth club and sporting teams in Emeryville. Very sad to see another friend from the past leave us so young.

I will never forget Garry. We hung out alot as young kids, and got in more trouble than I care to remember. To this day, I still have 2 broken front teeth from wrestling with him at Maple Leaf Beach Park Campground. He will be missed by many. My condolences to his family

Garry you welcomed me to a new world of beach bonfire parties and the Beastie Boys. I always admired your remarkably candid manner. You and your family were always there when I got myself into trouble growing up. Myself and countless others always enjoyed our time with you.
You truly had the life of Riley and shared all you had. Fond memories of sneaking out of the house at night and exploring.
We spoke often after you lost your Dad, truly devastating for you.
My sympathies to your Mom Bonnie, Sister Lisa, Jana and your daughter Jessica, Granddaughter Myla.

I will never forget Garry. As a child I used to camp next door. He was one of my first childhood friends. He was always so funny, spirited and full of adventure, that's what we all loved about him. So many stories to tell and silly things he did. He will be missed by so many. RIP Garry
