I know this is coming some time after his passing but I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about Mr. Finkelstein's passing, and send my deepest sympathy to the family. I met Mr. Finkelstein and his family (his son, Brett, was an early childhood neighborhood friend). They lived down the street from my family, I must have been about 6 years old at the time (47 now), and I remember vividly how open, warm and kind he, and they, were to me. I ran into him some time later at the Neshaminy Mall, many years after our families had long moved our separate ways. I recognized him immediately, even without his beard(!) and after a moment he recognized me, asked me how I'd been, how my family was doing, etc...very sincere. Again, just a kind person and it saddens me to know he's gone. Olov ha-Sholom
