I miss you every day. You were the best brother a girl could ever ask for. We had so much fun as kids growing up. I was so lucky to live right around the corner from you as we grew older. See you again one of these days. Karen

Gary- the kindest, sweetest most caring man! Our amazing neighbor, our best friend, a second father.
Sandy, Laurie, Grant, and Families-- we can't begin to express our sadness that your amazing husband, father, and grandfather has left us. We think people will be with us forever. Our entire family is deeply sorry for your loss and want you to know we are here for you--whatever you need. Big Bud is beyond anguished he can't fly up there to be with you. Know he is thinking of you, and crying with you every moment of every day. We love and miss you all.

Sandy and family: it is with great sadness that I say goodbye to my dear cousin Gary. He was like a second big brother to me when I was growing up. Aunt Christine and Uncle Freddie, Gary and Karen lived right around the corner from us near Dewey Woods (Van Wagoner and Mason St.) Our mothers were sisters and dads were related somehow (both Lehrs). We had an idyllic childhood that can never be replicated. Those memories always bring us laughter and joy. Karen and I are the same age and were fast friends growing up and to this day. I am the one who moved away after college, but we always kept in touch.
I have been praying for Gary during these last difficult months. He is at peace now and prayers continue for your entire family. I wish I could be there in person to share hugs and stories. I love you all.
Larry and I send our deepest sympathy.
