Gary Simon Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 6, 2024.
Gary S. Simon passed away on July 9, 2024, in Whitehills, Kingman, Arizona, at the age of 65. Born on November 24, 1958, in New York, he was the beloved son of the late Phyllis and Norman Simon, and a cherished brother to Mark and Jeffrey Simon.

Gary was a devoted father to Nicole (32) and Kevin (29) Simon, and a loving grandfather to Natalie Brown (10) and Ivy Simon (3). His life was marked by his adventurous spirit and his love of travel, scuba diving, and boating, which always left him with a great tan. He spent many years working on printing presses until an injury in 1999 led to early disability, changing the course of his life.

Despite the challenges he faced, Gary remained a vibrant part of his family and friends' lives. He is survived by his children, Nicole and Kevin; grandchildren, Natalie and Ivy; brothers, Jeffrey and Mark; nieces and nephews, Samantha, Jason, Dillion, Justin; and a great-niece, Addison. Gary also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Gary has been cremated at Sutton Funeral Home in Kingman, AZ, where arrangements were handled with care. The family invites those who knew Gary to remember him as the lively and well-meaning person he was, and to forgive any past grievances, celebrating the life he lived and the love he shared.
