GEORGE N.
Age 90, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 20, 2018. Beloved husband of 59 years to the late Marianne McLaughlin Pesch; loving father of Sue (Bob) Wolfe, Judi (Don) Fritz, Kathy (Tony) Venuti, and Nancy (Ron) Pearson; proud grandfather of Daniel and Kevin Fritz, and Ashley and Brooke Pearson; devoted brother of the late Joseph (Rayetta) Pesch; son of the late Nikolaus and Suzanne Pesch; also survived by his loving McLaughlin and Pesch nieces and nephews. George was a veteran of the US Navy and a graduate of Duquesne University. He was a founding and active member of St. Germaine's Parish. He worked as a products accountant for Alcoa for 36 years. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather (Poppy), and uncle. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 22, 2018, 2-5 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held April 23, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Germaine Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels. Condolences may be left at:
