Georgina PERGANTIS Obituary
Passed peacefully after a brief illness with her family by her side on Thursday, April 25th 2013 at age 74. Beloved wife of Nick Pergantis for 51 years. Devoted and loving mother of Ellen (Peter Anagnostopoulos). Proud Yiayia to Nicholas and Alexis. Survived by her brother Nick (Toula Germanakos). Predeceased by her sister Aggeliki (Yanni Bougadis) and her brother John (Kanella Germanakos). Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S. and Greece. A special thank you to ICU and NACU doctors and nurses at the Civic Campus, especially Dr. Pierre Bourque who cared for Mom for many years. Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 28th at Kimissis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church (1315 Prince of Wales Drive) from 3 to 5 p.m. with Trisagion Prayer at 5 p.m., and on Monday, April 29th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 29th in the Greek Orthodox Church at 11 a.m. A reception will follow the Interment at the Greek Orthodox Church. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Hellenic Community of Ottawa (Greek Orthodox Church) or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. My godmother was a beautiful person, inside and out, and she will be relentless and uncompromisingly missed.
We will keep you all in our prayers and wishing you strength as you deal with so much grief.

Dear Nick
Our deepest sympathies to you, and your children! We are so sorry to read of the passing of your dear wife Gergina. .
No doubt she was a very special woman who brought joy and love to you and all of her family. We haope that her stength and love will live on in all of your hearts and that she wil continue to be an inspiration to all whom she loved and were loved by!
Our thoughts are with you at this time, and we hope that God will continue to bless you and yours with no more sorrow!
