Gilbert was born February 6, 1924 in Hanford, CA to the late Mateo Lopez Gonzales and the late Juanita Velasquez. Gilbert worked as a Truck Driver for 20 years. Gilbert leaves behind his sons, Lloyd G. Gonzales, William A. Gonzales, and Robert J. Gonzales; daughter, Virginia Gonzales; grandson, Lloyd W. Gonzales; Granddaughters, Maria A. Gonzales and Rosalinda C. Gonzales; 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister; and other family members and friends who will miss him always. "God saw you were getting tired And a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "Come to Me". A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands now rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best."
