Ginger A. (Schwartz) Karp, formerly of Rockland, died May 21, 2012. She was the loving mother of Joyce Ilene Goldstein and her husband Marc of Randolph; dear sister of the late Nat L. Sherman. She worked for the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities and was an Army veteran of World War II. Ginger loved all animals. Graveside services at Vilno Cemetery, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury, May 23, 2012, at 10 a.m. Memorial observance will be at the home of Joyce Ilene and Marc Goldstein following interment through Friday sundown. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Helping Hands-Monkeys Helpers for the Disabled, 541 Cambridge St., Allston, MA 02134, or the Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20037, or New England Center for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108.
