Gino Carlo Ciambriello, 25, of Greenfield Twp., died unexpectedly Friday.
Born May 11, 1997, in Scranton, he was the son of Anthony and Barbara Carlo Ciambriello. Gino was a 2015 graduate of Lakeland High School and received his bachelor's degree in information technology management from Bloomsburg University in 2020. While at Bloomsburg University he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon. Gino was employed as a manufacturing planner associate at Lockheed Martin in Archbald. When he was younger, he excelled at playing the violin. Gino especially enjoyed living at Crystal Lake and spending time with his family and friends boating, fishing and tubing. His gentle nature and kindness made him a joy to be with. Gino was a beacon of light that illuminated the lives of those around him, and he could always be counted on to give us a laugh with his dry sense of humor when we least expected it.
He is also survived by one brother, Nico Ciambriello; uncles and aunts, David and Mary Carol Carlo, Deborah Sholly, Frances Cones, Anthony Carlo, Joseph and Lori Carlo, and Rose and Tom Rogari; cousins, Cameron, Danielle, Joey, Jessie, Brandon, Ryan, Mia, Gianna, Adelina and Charly; and Gino's best friend, Lucas Granville.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nicola and Rachel Ciambriello; and Anthony and Doris Carlo.
The funeral will be Friday from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 89 Farview St., Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook St., Carbondale. Entombment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Twp.
Viewing hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to assist the family with funeral expenses. Donations can be made securely on the funeral home's website by visiting Gino's online obituary and clicking the donate now tab.

My heart is heavy for this beautiful family. I had the privilege of knowing Nicolas and Rachel Ciambriello for many years. I also know Rose and Tony and many of their extended family. They and their families are the epitome of wonderful families. I know Gino is safe in his grandparents care - from both the Ciambriello and Carlo families. May he rest in peace and may his family carry on the joy and love he provided to all in this life. My heart goes out to all of them.
