Giovanni De LUCA Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Giovanni De Luca announce his passing on August 18, 2015 at the age of 82 years.
Left to remember him with much love are his wife of 51 years, Tommasina; his son, Gianni; his daughters, Pina (Geoff) McLellan and Angela (Ian) Albert and his five grandchildren, Sophia, Noah, Michael, Helena and Christina. Giovanni is also survived by his sisters, Maria Grande and Angelina Papa; brother, Pasquale (Emma); as well as numerous extended family members.
We, his family, are immensely grateful for his love and devotion and for his many sacrifices made to provide us with a life of abundance and opportunity.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Units 6 East and West at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their demonstrated care and compassion.
Family and friends are warmly invited for a Celebration of Life and Faith with Prayers Monday, August 24 at 8:00 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, August 25 at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church. Reverend George Puramadathil CFIC officiating with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Lung Association, Alberta/ NWT Division, PO Box 4700, Station South, Edmonton, AB T6E 6K2.

Tommasina, Pina, Angela & Family,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband/father, he was very sweet. My grandmother Lillian Smythe had shared rooms with Giovanni at the Royal Alex and had passed away August 18th as well. They both will be deeply missed and never forgotton. Take care, you a wonderful people.
