As soon as Grayce and I met in 1995, we realized that we had two interests in common: real estate education and David City, NE. She was instrumental in bringing me to Alaska to teach real estate educators and we were able to put together a grand reunion between her and her friends in David City, NE.
I loved hearing about her life and her work, especially the research tinto the Russian Orthodox deeds and records.
A good person, indeed.

Ray and Brenda,
Your mother and I were both the only child and raised in the Midwest. Our friendship began in Anchorage and continued for many years after I left...she was the sister I always wished I had. My tribute to her are my our daily thoughts of all she taught me and many others.

Grayce was a great friend and mentor. A genuinely good, gracious and loving person. My sympathies to her family. Thank you for sharing your Mom with so many of us. Jeff Cook, Fairbanks.

Grayce was directing the chancel choir at First Presbyterian when I began singing there in early 1964. I appreciated her musical knowledge, her gracious attitude and her patience with a small and pretty much amateur choir. Over the years I also appreciated her dedication to and involvement in various church activities - and, always, her strong faith. She will be missed. Rest in peace, Grayce - you've earned it.

Ray and Brenda...I'm so sorry for your loss. You mom would have me play the piano for her music kids at Wendler, and it was a joy. She also helped us sell our home when the recession hit. As Bob Hope used to sing: "Thanks for the memories" (including you two in my classes).
