Greg E. Gustafson, 65, of Bedford NH, passed away on April 22, 2021 after a brief illness at home with the love of his life Margaret by his side. He was born on July 16, 1955 to the late Roy & Gertrude (Collinge) Gustafson in Cambridge, MA. Greg was raised and educated in Manchester, NH, having graduated from Manchester Memorial High School where he played football and later achieved an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from New Hampshire Technical College. He would go on to work as a store manager for Auto Palace in Concord, a Sr. Computer Operator at Hewlett Packard and retired as a systems analyst for Astadia. Those who knew Greg will remember a kind and generous man with a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was a lifelong fan of sports of all kinds, especially football, golf, baseball and Nascar. He especially loved sitting in his chair on a Saturday afternoon watching Boston Sports at his home with his beloved cat Howdy at his side. He also loved sci-fi books and movies, especially Star Wars, and in his later years he enjoyed playing the guitar that Margaret got him. Above all else, Greg loved being with his family, especially his Lovie Margaret and his brother Eric and his family. Memories of going to sporting events, backyard barbeques and spending time in the comforts of home with Greg will not be soon forgotten. Greg is survived by his Lovie Margaret Murphy, brother Eric Gustafson and his wife Cara, as well as his nephew Eric Gustafson Jr. and niece Christina Gustafson. Greg will be laid to rest at the Bedford Center Cemetery in the coming days in a private ceremony. Dear Margaret, Eric and Family, I am so sorry to just learn about Greg's passing! I am in total shock not sure how to ever express my feelings or what to say! He was such a caring person, he would call or text me asking how I was doing! Always concerned about other people. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and am so sorry for your loss!

Sorry to hear this sad news. Back in the day, I trained Greg to be a store manager for CF. He had a great sense of humor.

Margaret, i am so very sad to hear about Greg--he was like family during our coming-of-age years and was an important member of my brother's group of friends. I was glad we got to connect again, and to meet you, over a couple of Christmas Eve's prior to 2020 at Chuck and Chris' house. I will always remember his wonderful sense of humor and upbeat vibe. Sail on, friend!

Greg was a great friend in high school and easy college years. Lost touch with him but reconnected on FB several years ago. My learning is to connect in person. May he rest in peace - I'll make him a pizza when I see him in heaven.

Dear Eric and family, and Margaret, I still can't believe Greg has departed. Eric, when you called me to tell me the sad news, my jaw dropped and I was totally speechless. My deepest sympathy to you all. Greg was a gentle, calm and always smiling
