Gregory Jaggers Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 17, 2025.
Gregory Jaggers, 53, passed away on July 14, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Born on November 5, 1971, in Sacramento, California, Greg lived a life marked by purpose, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to helping others reach their full potential.

From a young age, Greg found his calling in special education. At just 18 years old, he began working with at-risk youth at a nonpublic school in Sacramento. This early experience ignited a lifelong passion for supporting students with special needs-a mission that would define his professional journey. Over the years, Greg dedicated himself to creating environments where every student could thrive. He served as the executive director of Triad Family Services and later worked in mergers and acquisitions within the behavioral healthcare industry. His work was always guided by a deep belief in the potential of people and the power of education to transform lives.

Greg's entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found Point Quest Education (Point Quest Group) alongside his wife, Ronda Jaggers. Together, they built programs designed to equip students with the tools they needed to access and succeed in their educational journeys. Through this work, Greg not only impacted countless students but also mentored emerging leaders-helping them grow into confident professionals who could carry forward his vision of inclusive and empowering education.

Greg was known for his ability to inspire those around him. He had a gift for developing people into the best versions of themselves and took great joy in watching others succeed. His leadership style was rooted in authenticity and encouragement, always paired with a quick smile and a sharp sense of humor that made him both approachable and unforgettable.

Outside of his professional life, Greg was an avid outdoorsman with a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing-interests he shared closely with his cousin Jason Hall. Whether casting a line or tracking game through the wilderness, Greg found peace and connection in nature.

Above all else, Greg cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Ronda; son Michael Jaggers, daughter-in-law Addi Jaggers and son Grayson Beaton-Rice, daughter-in-law Vanessa Beaton-Rice, and granddaughter Zelie Beaton-Rice; parents James and Darlene Jaggers; brother James Jaggers and sister-in-law, Richelle Jaggers, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mike and Jamie Friesen and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his oldest son Benjamin Jaggers.

Greg lived life to the fullest-generous with his time, steadfast in his beliefs, and deeply devoted to those he loved. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched as an educator, mentor, entrepreneur, husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire all who strive to make a difference in the lives of others. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 23, 2025, at 01:30 PM at Seqouia at the Cannery 1601 Alhambra Blvd suite 200 Sacramento, CA 95816.

I had the honor of meeting both Greg and Ronda 5 years ago. They came to Wyoming to look at a home I had for sale. My memories of that day were they probably wouldn´t make it through the first winter. I was wrong! The two of them together are a force of nature. Greg had such a great upbeat positive approach to everything we did. I once cautioned him about costs on an upcoming project. He promptly let me know that Ronda didn´t ask for much and he wanted her to have this! From where I stood these two were a match made in heaven. My deepest sympathies.
