Wonderful memories of our wacky trio, and of course, of your fantastic Mother. Didn't learn about your passing until fall'22. Have missed, and will continue to miss our chats filled with chuckles. You were a musician and philanthropist extraordinaire, and I hope our spirits stay connected.

Greg (and Brian) was a wonderful string student when I was studying at IUPUFW. We played in a variety of chamber music together as they were both becoming fine young string players. I am so sorry to hear of his death. As we age we presume that those friends we worked with, played with, and joked with when we were kids or young adults are still out there doing what they love. When I saw the announcement in the Musicians Union bulletin I was totally surprised and so saddened. I feel for Brian and his other family members!

Greg was a friend and fellow musician of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic for many years. In the course of those years he took on many rolls. In addition to his work as cellist, he was elected by his fellow musicians to serve on the Orchestra Committee. We also elected him to serve as our representative to the Board of Directors of the Philharmonic. We will sorely miss him.

I was so so sorry to hear about Greg. I have worked with him for several years here at WBOI. I am the finance manager and started when Greg was on the finance committee. He was a huge resource and I could always count on him. I am going to be out of town this weekend but wanted to pay my respects and to say he is going to be truly missed. Prayers for comfort and peace. May God Bless You Always. Jennifer DePoy

Every summer, Greg and Brian would dedicate a weekend to travel to Rockville Indiana and bestow a visit to my parents, Cleve and Jane Scott, at their home on Raccoon Lake. As a resident of the house next door, I was honored and fortunate to witness the happiness they would bring to mom and dad. Each visit was a delight filled with lively conversation, laughter and love. I will cherish these memories always.
