Dear Dorothy, this is Elenore McGuire.
I'm so very, very sorry for your loss. I won't be able to attend Greg's funeral, but I wanted you to know that you and Greg will be in my prayers.
I'm also sorry we lost contact with each other; I don't have your current phone number. I'm doing fine and living in mid-town just east of Greg's last beat at SLU. Please give me a call when you can ... 314.531.4842.

Dorothy and children:
Those of us who were McBride High 1945 classmates of Greg's are very saddened at his death. He was a key member of our monthly luncheons, always in good spirits and a lot of enthusiasm for life. He spoke so often and proudly of all of you. Many of our group will be at the funeral mass. Regrettably, I can't attend as I have a case in court at that time.
Sincerely, Gene Walsh.
