GRETA PILLON Obituary
(nee Bourdeau)
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our dear Greta, on Monday June 17th, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Predeceased by her first husband Milton Gow (1974), her infant children Timothy and Joseph, and her parents Edward and Catherine Bourdeau. Cherished wife of Robert for 37 years. Beloved and treasured mother of Judy Gow (Derrick), Doug Gow (Shelley), Chris Gow (Denise), Greg Gow (Annette), Carolyn Paquette (Richard), Keith Gow (Juanita), Jonathan Pillon (Lori) and Jennifer Williams (Gary). Adored grandmother of numerous grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. Will be sadly missed by her mother- in-law Lillian Pillon (late Edgar), and her siblings Joan Emon (Joe), Marlene Grenier (Jim), Bev Kucharski (Rick), Ron Bourdeau (Linda), and Cheryl Bourdeau. Will also be fondly remembered by her brothers-in-law Gary Pillon, Randy Pillon (Bev), and sisters- in-law Gloria Scharman, and Bonnie Pillon, as well as many nieces and nephews. Greta lived a life of Faith and Devotion to God and to her precious family. Visiting at

on Wednesday evening 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Greta's nephew Father Matt Kucharski on Friday June 21, 2013 at 11:00 am at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH (225 Brock St., Amherstburg). The family invites friends to gather at the church directly. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, as your expression of sympathy, donations made in Greta's name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
