Gretchen B. Fullerton

CLINTON — Gretchen B. Fullerton, 84, of Clinton died Monday, January 19, 2009, at Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2009, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will be private on Saturday. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael, Andrew, Mathew, Lucas and Jordan Fullerton, and Ronald Porterfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven, Kenneth, and Marcus Fullerton, Thomas Wynn, Kirk Baird, Ben Togtman, and Wayne Gurges. Gretchen Beryl Hindley was born on January 7, 1925, in Centerville, IA, the daughter of Francis and Juanita (Beardsley) Hindley. She married Robert A. Fullerton on September 27, 1952, in Redondo Beach, CA. She was employed at Kmart for many years until her retirement in 1987. She is survived by her husband, Robert, of Clinton; her children: Michael (Renee) Fullerton of Davenport, IA, Leslie Ann (Ronald) Porterfield of Hoffman Estates, IL, Andrew M. (Tammy) Fullerton of Boone, IA, and Mathew J. (Natalie) Fullerton of Clinton; 10 grandchildren, and one brother, Charles (Janet) Hindley of Clinton.
