Guenter KREBS Obituary
Peacefully, on Sunday, January 29, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Bertha Lowe for sixty-four years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Howard and Deborah, Michael and Beverly, Robert and Susan. Cherished Papa of Jonathan and Meital Krebs, Avi Krebs, Lori and Mark Holtzberg, and Daniel Krebs. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the 8th floor nurses and staff at the Jewish General Hospital, and special thanks to Drs. Elizov and Goldfarb for their care, compassion and guidance. Many thanks to his caregiver, Velma. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, January 31 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Montefiore Protective Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the "Guenter Krebs Memorial Fund" c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
