GUILLERMO AGUILAR
June 25, 1922 - Feb. 10, 2014
Guillermo Aguilar was born on June 25, 1922, the son of Maria and Eusebio Aguilar of Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Guillermo departed this life at the age of 91 on Monday, February 10, 2013. He was preceded in death by his daughter Felipa Zumaya and grandson Charlie Zumaya.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Refugio Aguilar of El Centro, CA; daughter, Marta Navarro of El Centro; daughter, Yolanda Jimenez of Indio, CA; cousins Rafael and Jose Arroyo of San Diego; grandchildren- Carla Martinez of Rancho Bernardo, CA; Jesse and Isaac Jimenez of Indio; Mike Banaga and Albert Navarro of Calexico; Christina Zumaya, Monica Beltran, Angie Navarro and Daniel Navarro of El Centro. He had many great-grandchil- dren and a host of other relatives and friends who brought great joy to his later years.
As a young man, Guillermo worked as a landscaper for the City of San Diego. Guillermo helped maintenance of various Southern California coastal beaches. In his later years, he migrated to the Imperial Valley where he worked as a farm laborer in Niland and Calipatria, California. Guillermo had a passion for his work and also loved to work on his own garden. During his retirement years, Guillermo loved to spend his time with his great-grandchil- dren. Guillermo was a great husband for over fifty years and a constant companion of wife, Refugio Aguilar. He will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley, CA. Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in El Centro and will be officiated by Deacon Domino Enriquez. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA.

Mis sinceras condolencias a la familia Aguilar. La Biblia nos brinda mucho consuelo en esto momentos difíciles. Personalmente me consuela saber lo que dice Isaías 25:8, " El realmente se tragará la muerte para siempre, y el Señor Soberano Jehová ciertamente limpiara las lágrimas de todo rostro" y Hechos 24:15; " va a haber resurrección así de justos como de injustos." Piensen en lo feliz que seremos cuando volvamos a ver a nuestro seres queridos. Les deseo lo mejor.
