Harold (Jay) Cuttie Obituary

Harold (Jay) Cuttie, 71, of Sycamore, IL, passed away on May 5, 2024. He was a loving husband to Charlene for 39 years. Jay was a 1970 graduate of Aurora Central High School and went on to have a successful career as a union carpenter until his retirement in 2009.

Jay was a devoted family man who adored his wife and cherished his siblings: Don (Vallarie), Jim (Nolvia), Vince, Helen (Greg) Stutzman, Mary Jan (Rich) Lambert, Diane (Rick) Martin, Carol, and Cathy Windish. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Catherine, and his brother Bob.

A Celebration of Life for Jay will be held at Elburn Lions Community Park, 500 Filmore St., Elburn, IL on Saturday, June 15th from 1-5 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jay's memory to a charity of your choice.

Jay will be remembered for his dedication to his work, his love for his family and friends, and his ability to bring laughter to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Jay you were one of my best friends in high school. You always had a smile and fast joke to lighten any moment. Very joyful memories of our younger days. I love you and will always miss you, but will always smile when my thoughts are of you! RIP!
