Mr Harry Reeve of Wingerworth passed away peacefully in hospital on Sunday 3 November.
Born in Chesterfield in 1932, he celebrated his diamond wedding anniversary with Rosemary in April this year. He leaves behind their sons John, Timothy and Michael and two grandchildren Emily and Alexander.
Harry worked in the family coach building business at Pilsley for over 40 years as the sales director and travelled the UK selling small buses to major bus companies.
In his retirement, Harry was an active member of the Chesterfield Golf Club and when he wasn't playing golf he was either in the garden or travelling the world. Harry valued the community and served on Walton and Holymoorside Parish Council, was a founder-member of Chesterfield Scarsdale Rotary Club, Treasurer of Chesterfield North Derbyshire NSPCC branch and Treasurer of Dukeries NADFAS committee.
A service of remembrance and celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday 20 November at 2pm at St John's Church, Walton. The family have requested no flowers, but donations in aid of NSPCC and St John's Church.
