Helen Hill

Helen Hill 1924 ~ 2005 Helen Hill, 80, of Salt Lake City died April 13, 2005. She was born August 29, 1924 to Winnipeg, Canada to Stefan and Yustyna Kolisnyk Yacentuik. Helen married John V. "Jack" Hill. He died September 1, 1997. She worked as a waitress at the Alta Club and the Hotel Utah. She was devoted to her husband, Jack. She loved children. She was gregarious and fun loving, with a great sense of humor. She is survived by eight sisters, Silvia Cybuliak of Selkirk, Manitoba; Jean Clarke; Ann Knott; Natalie Longtin; Sandra Yacentiuk; Dianne Yacentiuk; all of Toronto, Ontario; Ollie Guinness of Richmond, British Columbia; and Adele Smiley of Elma, Wash. And several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. A special thanks to Helen's friends at Millcreek Village Apartments, especially John. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street. Funeral Directors, Neil O'Donnell and Sons.
