Helen Hodge-Ridgeway Obituary
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carlton Ridgeway, Sr. one sister Lucille Jones, and her stepfather Woodrow Dawson. She is survived by her three children Carlton, Jr., Frances Sobczak (Jim), Randy, two granddaughters, four grandsons, and nine great grand children.
Helen spent her days taking care of her children and being a loyal wife to her beloved husband of 59 years.
In 1972 Helen became a member of the Lady's Auxiliary of the Orlean Volunteer Fire Department of Orlean, VA.
As a woman of faith Helen was a member of the Baptist church and lived to serve God, her family, and her community.
Visitation will be held on July 24, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Royston Funeral Home, Middleburg, VA. Burial will take place in the Ivy Hill Cemetery, Upperville, VA.
