Helen was a wonderful wife, mother and special friend to all. I will always cherish our times together. Helen was an inspiration to everyone who knew her and her giving and loving personality touched many lives. She was an accomplished musician and I loved to hear her play. I could always see the love she had for Bob and her sons, Alan and Kenneth. They were the joy of her life. I will always hold a place in my heart for this dear lady and I will keep the family in my prayers during the time.

Dear Bob,
Helen was such a gift to each of us who have worshiped at First Lutheran Muskogee. Her musical talents were such a blessing to all. She was far more accomplished than we could even appreciate and she gave herself to her music and to us as a congregation.
We feel your loss and pray that God will continue to give you strength and comfort.

Bob, I am sorry for your loss. Helen was a wonderful lady. I did enjoy my visits to get checks signed for the Kelly B. Todd Center. I think about the two of you all the time. You two will have always have a special place in my heart.

I took piano lessons from Mrs. James for several years. She was so interested in all of her students and had strong intentions to teach us all she knew. I will never forget her.

I remember Helen fondly from attending piano recitals my brother, George Talbot, played in at her home in Shawnee, OK. My parents, Oran and Elizabeth Talbot, were also members of St. John Lutheran Church there. I know Helen will be missed.
