Helen Dorothy McMahon

Helen Dorothy McMahon, 88, of Pomona, NY died Saturday, July 5, 2003 at Friedwald Center. Helen was born in Manhattan, NY on February 11, 1915. She was the daughter of Margaret and William Powers. Helen was employed for many years in the advertising business in New York City and in later years worked part time in the Kings Daughters Public Library in Thiells, NY. She is survived by her daughters Eileen Kealty and husband Frank of Hopewell Junction, NY and Erin Riebesehl of Pearl River, NY, son Brian and his wife Ronnie of Pomona, NY; her eight grandchildren Alanna Manning, Frank Jr. and Terence Kealty, Maureen and Tricia Riebesehl, Kerry O'Gorman and Timothy and Kelly McMahon and eight great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Frank who died in 1941 and sisters Alice and Cathleen Powers and grandson Bill Riebesehl. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Margaret's RC Church, Pearl River, NY. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
