HENRY "HANK"
Of Penn Hills, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Beloved husband of 58 years to Marianna (Verri) Fiore; loving father of Roseann Fiore, John Fiore, and Rhonda Watson; proud Pap-Pap of Jamey Summers, Chelsea (Popovich), and Greg Bodack, and Cara Fiore; adoring great Pap-Pap of Micah, Elaine, and Abigal Summers; brother of Margueritte Scanga, the late Norma DeLucia, and Caroline Corvino; also many nieces and nephews. Henry was a professional artist, exhibiting worldwide with many prestigious awards. He founded the Penn Hills Arts Council, promoting the arts in Penn Hills and beyond. Henry is honored annually in Penn Hills on June 18 with the day designated as "Henry Fiore Day." Friends received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills. Funeral Mass at St. Bartholomew Church, Saturday 10 a.m.

I'll miss you Henry! You were the first person I met when I moved here 19 years ago and to this day, can't think of a more kind soul. My heart goes out to the entire Fiore family at this sad time. I will truly miss my friendly and good neighbor Henry. Living across the street from each other, I will miss seeing him outside when I walk up from the street from getting off the bus after work and having a conversation. He loved his flowers and plants. He was a wonderful artist. I will always remember when I first moved into my house, he invited me over and told me to pick any painting I wanted - that was his gift to me. He and Marianna are special people and I thank God for the opportunity to know them. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family and may God's love and comfort provide peace and strength.
