I only now learned of Henry's death. He was a good friend and colleague in ministry while I was in York (at Trinity U.C.C.). Henry and I were grads of Elmhurst College and Eden Seminary and were members of what grads affectionately called the "Triple E Club" - Elmhurst, Eden, and Eternity. Henry completed the journey before me. My deep sympathy to all who mourn his passing.

Dear Ruth, Paul, and Craig: Please accept my sincere sympathy. It was a joy to work with Henry during my years as organist/choirmaster at Heidelberg. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man. Sincerely, Steve Dean (Heidelberg musician 1978-1982)

Ruth, Paul and Craig, I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't know until this morning that Henry had died. I attend Hayshire UCC, and Henry often visited our church and preached when needed. My fondest memory of him is when he would do like a monologue (sometimes in costume) of a biblical character (especially remember Judas and Peter). It was like he got right into their minds, and it helped me understand them better and make them more real. Henry will live in our hearts forever.
