Henry Russian Obituary
He was the beloved husband of Elise, née Tcheurdukian, for 64 years; the loving father of Richard (Mari), Christine, and Henry Jr.; the cherished grandfather of Alan (Annmarie Gast) and
Anna Lise. He was the caring brother of Marie Roussian in his hometown of Marseille, France. He was the proud uncle to Monique, Betty, and Alain Seringulian; Edmond (Michele) and Philippe Tcheurdukian; and Michael (Darlene) Chardukian.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 14 from 10-11 AM at St. George Armenian Apostolic Church, 1015 N McAree Rd, Waukegan, IL. Funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Warren Cemetery in Gurnee.
To honor Henry, please make a donation in his memory to St. George Apostolic Church. And remember: always try to get your shoes fixed before buying a new pair-just as Henry would have wanted.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Henri's passing. I know he lived a good and full life surrounded by many loving family members. It is so hard to lose a loved one at any time - young or old. My heart goes out to all of you, Elise, Richard, Christine, Mari and the rest of the entire family with sincere sympathy.

Dear Cousins,
We Boston relatives are so saddened to hear of our Cousin Henry's passing. In fact, only a few days ago, Arsen Russian and I had been talking about when Henry came to the US and worked in the family market here with his Boston cousins. I printed up the Daily Herald article (Moving Picture; about the Shoe Repair) for Arsen, and I printed another copy for my brother Chuck. Arsen loved the article and especially the pictures. He remarked instantly about how much Rich looks like his father.
Henry Russian was a good man, a remarkable man, and an inspiration. We offer our sincere condolences to all our Russian cousins, and pray your memories of Henry will be a comfort and a cherished blessing, always.
