HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Henry Scott entered into rest on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Eisenhower Medical Center. He attended Three Trees Elementary School and Burke Industrial High School on James Island and Charleston, SC. Mr. Scott served his country by enlisting in the USAF and retired after twenty-three years. As a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Deacon Scott believed and was an example of SERVICE IN ACTION. He was a proponent of education and to his credit received degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Phillips College in Augusta. He rejoined the workforce at the Department of Energy and after retiring there went on to work for Richmond County School System as a paraprofessional. Mr. Scott leaves to cherish fond loving memories with his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Mrs. Lillie Mae Scott; daughter, Andrea M. Scott; sons, Terence J. (Lori) Scott and Kevin P. (Dina) Scott; grandchildren, Kelle D. (Reginald) Stone, Khadejah J. Scott and Natalia Scott; great-grandchildren, Voshon A. Stone and Keenan B. Stone; brother, James (Delores) Scott and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00am, Saturday, March 7, 2015, Macedonia Baptist Church, 1829 Wrightsboro Road, with Pastor Gregory Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park with full military honors. Mr. Scott may be viewed today (Friday) from 3 to 6:00pm at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, Inc., 3618 Peach Orchard Road.
