Herbert Hooey

HOOEY-On April 4, 2007, Herbert Herb Hooey, resident of Assiniboia, Sk. and formerly a longtime mechanic of Lafleche, Sk. passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 65 years. He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Christina, brother Neil, half brother Ted, half sister Ethel, and nephew Garth. Herb is survived by his daughter Michelle of Conquest, Sk., and son Brian of Saskatoon, Sk., sister Ellen in Central Point, Oregon, half brother Mervin of Oregon, sister-in-law Doris of Calgary, Alta, many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 9, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in St. George's R.C. Church, Assiniboia, Sk. with Father Ron Andree officiating. Memorials for the Saskatchewan Heart and Stroke Foundation or masses (C/O Box 1614, Assiniboia, Sk., S0H-0B0) will be gratefully received. Interment of the ashes will follow in the Lafleche R.C.
