Dear Chip and Mrs. Parsons,
I was so sorry to learn of your dad, husband's passing earlier this month. I'm sure this is such a tough time, and I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you both (You will not believe that it wasn't until just now that I ever put together that my dear teacher 'Mrs. Parsons' was my classmate Chip's mom! A view into my child's mind!) In anycase, my love to you both, with fond memories of you both.
blessings, Susan Wortman

My late mother, Margaret Inglis, had many fond memories of your entire family and I know she would join me in offering our condolences. To Aunt Maime and Chip and family.
I wish I knew the magic words to say, to take away the pain and hardship the loss of your loved one has brought into your lives. I don't have those words, but please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I cannot pretend to know how you feel- because your grief belongs to you - but also know that the loss of such a precious, person as Uncle Hugh saddens us greatly. We will miss him and his humor.
