My condolences to the family. I only knew Ian a short time while working with him at the fish plant. He was a lot of fun to work with and was a good friend to me and my husband always. He will be missed.

To Martin, Kay, Bryan and David:
I am so sorry to hear about Ian. I saw the announcement in The Journal on Saturday, and was shocked! We don't subscribe to the Journal, but I just happened to pick one up.
My most sincere condolences to all!

Ian was my neighbor and we all loved his quiet manner, artistic talent, wit and dry humour. He was always so helpful to me and others, and I know he was doing his best to overcome the challenges he faced daily. We talked often about it and he was making such good progress so this was such a shock. I'm so saddened by his passing. I've known him nearly two years and counted him as a good friend and really wonderful person. Gone too soon.
