Ila Krier Obituary
with her family by her side, on October 17th, 2014.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and
Christian and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Ila was born February 22nd, 1922, on the family farm,
in Holly, Colorado, to Theodore and Wauneita Barth.
She graduated from Holly High School and Colorado
State College of Education in Greeley. She married
Robert Louis Krier in 1948 and they had been married
66 years at the time of her death. She retired from
Douglas County Schools in 1986.
Ila was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers
and 2 sisters and is survived by one brother, Robert,
of Holly. She is also survived by her husband Robert
of Castle Rock, daughters Jennifer Schirer of Castle
Rock, Connie (Jim) Pheney of Franktown and three
grandsons, Alex (Gena) Schirer of Seattle, WA, Brian
Weatherly of Fort Worth, TX and Justin Weatherly of
Las Vegas, NV.
