Mrs. Irene M. Bush

Irene M. Bush, age 88, passed away at her residence in Ocala, Florida She was born in Wilkes Barre, Pa to Stanley & Mary Mishkel. Irene moved to this area in 1981 from Endicott, New York. She was a 1944 graduate of Cumberland Hospital School of Nursing in Brooklyn, New York. She loved painting, arts and crafts,singing and playing the ukulele in June Twisters Ukulele Band. Irene was a founding member of the choir and also a member of the choir at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was a nurse in the U.S Army Air Corps. She is survived by her two sons, Frank S. Bush and his wife Lynnda of Denver, Colorado, Jeffrey Bush and his wife Jeri of Tallahassee, Fl; daughter Colleen Estison and her husband Lee of Trail, Oregon; two sisters Mary Skennion of Ocala, Fl, Helen Wills and her husband Bill of Virginia Beach, Fl and five grandchildren, Timothy Montgomery Bush, Tracy Leigh Bush, Kristin Snyder and her husband Burt, Katy Bush and Matthew Bush. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Marion County in memory of Irene M. Bush.
