March 24, 1943 – October 7, 2015
With courage, dignity and grace, surrounded by her loving family. Absolutely extraordinary mother and mother-in-law of Jeremy Quirk (Elaine Gamboa), Dino Mazzone (Barbara Farina), Paola Mazzone and Diego Mazzone (Cinzia Angeloni). Doting and amazing grandmother to Julia, Michael, Julian, Matteo, Maia, James and David. Sister to Carmela Campanelli, Joseph D'Amico and Rosanna Moody. Predeceased by her parents Antonio D'Amico and Filomena D'Alete, her sister Santina Abate and brother Giovanni D'Amico. "Nella", as she was known to many, will be deeply missed by all her nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the doctors as well as the outstanding teams of residents, nurses and orderlies from the ICU and the 14th Floor of the Montreal General Hospital for their outstanding care, commitment and compassion. The family will receive condolences on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at Centre Funéraire Côte- Des-Neiges Inc., 4525 Ch. De La Cote-Des-Neiges, Montreal, QC H3V 1E7, (514) 342-8000. A Church Service will take place on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 12 noon at St. Monica's Parish, 6405 rue de Terrebonne, Montreal, QC H4B 1A8, with burial to follow at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.

To my Olier family,
Rides in the Pinto. Fred Flinstone cake. "Mustaccio di Pappa". The laughter emanating from 11464. Just a few of the many happy memories I have growing up there. Memories I will cherish forever. Your mom was like a second mom to me and a great friend to my parents. She was indeed the life of every party and our street was no exception. How lucky were we to have grown up there together. I miss your mom very much but am comforted in knowing that her legacy lives on in you and your children and that her laughter still resounds along Olier street.

I cannot believe that I will never see your smiling face again. It was always fun to be in your presence...so full of life and playfulness.
