IVAN GROSS Obituary
Age 81 of Pittsburgh, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 27, 2016. Born September 5, 1935 in McKeesport, beloved son of the late Ceil and Ben Gross. Beloved husband of Marjorie Conn Gross of fifty-eight years. Brother of the late Richard Gross; loving father of Susan Wallace (Gerry), Steven Gross (Terrina Woodard), Andy Gross (Lainie Simon); loving grandfather of Abby Wallace, Aaron Gross, Ben Wallace, and Alexa Gross. A longtime resident of Greensburg, he was the owner of Ben Gross Restaurant in Irwin for fifty years. Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His shining smile and constant jokes brightened everyone's day. A Pitt alumni and avid golfer, he was a member of Westmoreland Country Club for 57 years. Services at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 2 p.m. with visitation from 1-2 p.m. Interment at Temple Emanuel Cemetery in Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to a charity of their choice.
