I served with Jack at the 82nd A 1/320, he was a spec4 on his way to OCS. I then had the privilege of serving under him in 79-80 he was a 2nd Lt. with D battery 1/509th abct. He taught me many lessons how to be a good soldier and a good man.

I was with Jack for more than two years in Vicenza, Italy. This was in the late 1970's and we were both young paratroopers in the Army's 509th Parachute Infantry. I have many fond memories of Jack. He was a good friend and a brave soldier. He was a great artilleryman and the best maintenance officer I ever knew.
