Jacqueline J. Disher born July 2, 1925 in Sioux City, Iowa, to parents William J. and Irma Irby. She went to be with the Lord August 28, 2003. She was raised in Sioux City, then moved to Chicago in 1936 where she received her education. She was a secretary for many years then an administrative assistant for Allied Signal here in Phoenix. She moved to Phoenix in 1979. Jackie loved life, always had interesting stories to tell and would keep you laughing. She was active in her church in the Oasis Ministry and a Communion Server. She loved the Lord. She was active in setting up craft sales for the women's ministry for many years. She loved to sing and dance. She loved her nephews, nieces and
grandchildren, step-children. She was a loving Aunt for all the kids. Her life revolved around her family. She was willing to help anyone who needed assistance. She was always there! She was preceded in death by her parents
William & Irma Irby, her husband Peter Disher. She leaves behind her sister Charline Bradbury, nephews Terry, Gary, Kerry Lonergan, niece Cherie Stumpp, grand nephews Travis Lonergan & Dylan Stumpp, Elizabeth, Michael and Angela Lonergan, her step-daughter Susan Swanson, 2 step-sons Chris & Tim Disher, 10 step-grandchildren. We will all miss her very much. There will be a big void in our family gatherings. She brought life to all around her. We love you Jackie and you will be missed very much. Visitation will be Friday, September 5, 2003 6-8PM at Community Church of Joy, Bldg 1601, Glendale, with service Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 10:00AM Community Church of Joy, 21000 N 75th Avenue, Glendale, AZ
