Jaime Villegas Campos, aged 68, passed away on June 3, 2024, in Granada Hills, CA. Born on July 12, 1955, Jaime was a cherished member of his community and a loving figure within his extensive family.

Jaime was born in El Molino, Zacatecas, Mexico and moved to the United States with his parents at a young age. He grew up in Van Nuys, CA where he completed his education, attending Sylvan Park Elementary, Van Nuys Jr High School, Van Nuys High School, and later Los Angeles Valley College. He dedicated 30 years of his career to Federal Express as a courier, a role he performed with dedication and pride until his retirement in 2022.

Beyond his professional life, Jaime was passionate about baseball and softball, often found cheering for the Los Angeles Dodgers or playing guitar. His love for music and sports was only surpassed by his devotion to his family and friends. Jaime was known for his compassionate nature and his readiness to support those around him, qualities that endeared him to many.

He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Allison Campos, and son-in-law, Dr. Absalon Galat; grandsons Emiliano and Elias; former spouse, Marilyn Campos; and his siblings Javier (Claudia), Irma, Hector (Nellie), Carlos (Shannon), Raul (Francine), Henry (Norma), and Albert (Diana), along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Jaime was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe V. Campos and Guadalupe T. Campos.

A service to honor Jaime's life will be held at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills, CA, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 9:00 AM, with arrangements handled by San Fernando Mission Cemetery and Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jaime may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of San Fernando Valley. Donations can be made through the following link: https://kindest.com/002590-jaime-campos-memorial.

Jaime's legacy of kindness, passion, and community spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
