Jaime Carpena

Jaime Carpena, 88, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025, in Palm City, Florida. Born on September 21, 1936, in Málaga, Spain, Jaime's life journey was marked by determination, resilience, and a remarkable legacy of achievement.

A self-made man in every sense of the word, Jaime built an extraordinary career as a recognized and accomplished executive in the supermarket industry. Over the course of four decades, he played a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the field through his leadership and vision. His professional accomplishments were a testament to his tireless work ethic and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Jaime's life was also deeply rooted in family. He is lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 67 years Mildred; his sons Peter and Robert; and his daughter Dominique; His grandchildren Christopher; Justin; Jaime; his brothers in Spain Angel Carpena; Juan Carpena and their children; his son in law Donald Wickham and his children Savanah and Amanda; close family friend Diane; Daughter in law Ledi; in addition to much more extended family both in the United States and abroad.

To all who knew him-family, friends, and colleagues alike-Jaime was a source of strength and inspiration.

Though he achieved much in his lifetime, Jaime remained grounded and devoted to those he loved. His legacy is not only found in his professional success but also in the enduring love he shared with those closest to him.

He will always be loved and forever held in our hearts. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
