James Battis Obituary

Battis James R., age 46, of Eagan, on 3-23-04. Preceded in death by parents, George N. and Mary Louise. Survived by wife of 17 years, Maureen; brothers, Michael (Jacquelyn), George (Mary Hannah), and Mark (Deborah); sister, Elizabeth Whitaker (Charles); many nieces and nephews; mother- in-law, Barbara McNeal; many other relatives and friends. James was a commercial photographer who loved music, cooking, collecting glass art objects and Las Vegas. A visitation will be held Sat. from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the O'Halloran & Murphy Chapel, 575 S. Snelling, with a time of remembrance at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Am. Jim, it's hard to believe you are gone. Maureen, we will do our best to get you through this, but we will never be able to take Jim's place. Jim, now you can sit with Mom and Dad and let them know what's been happening.
