James Bradley Obituary

James R. Bradley died Monday, May 24, 2010 at Wesley Long Palliative Care from cancer. He was 77 years old, and was born on November 13, 1932. His funeral service will be Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Noon at Hanes Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, 1900 Vanstory Street, Greensboro with entombment to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. He was retired from Roadway Express where he worked for 30 years, and he also served in the United States Marine Corp. He was an avid Carolina Tar Heel fan, and also loved Nascar and the Atlanta Braves. He was loved and respected by all who knew him, and he had a great love for his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Margaret Caldwell Bradley of the home; daughters, Laura Lee of Greensboro and Barbara Rogers and husband Robert of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Bryan Lee of Clemmons, NC; Megan Hyler of Whitsett, NC; Lindsay Rogers of Ipswich, MA; and Jason Rogers of Columbia, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405. I am very sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. I worked many years
with him at Roadway. He was one of my favorites. My sympathy is

I will always remember the way Ronnie walked around a vehicle and kicked the tires before he got in. I guess that was the truck driver in him. He will be missed. Love, Amanda
