James Burton Obituary
James was a beacon of kindness and generosity, known for his humor and dedication not only at work but in every aspect of his life. He was an avid landscaper who took pride in his yard, enjoyed golfing, and spent many joyful times boating on Lake Cumberland. His interest in spiritual matters was reflected in his regular attendance at Manchester Methodist and Naomi Church of the Nazarene, he also loved watching Dr. David Jeremiah's televised sermons.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his daughters, Jessica Micire and Jacqueline Stevens; grandchildren Ava Hoover, Jaxson, Jefferson, Regan Hidvegi, Ayden and Audrey Micire; his sister, Brenda Burton Fields; and his special friend, Gwen Gray. James was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Burton (Hoffman); granddaughter Alexandria Hoover; and his parents, Denville and Bobby Burton; sisters, Laura Burton& Karen (Cecil) Woods.
James will be remembered as a pillar of strength and joy by all who knew him. Jimmy loved 3 things: The Lord, his twins, and his grass... in that order. He was a true blessing to us, the best Father & Papa we could have asked for. He will be forever missed.

Jim,
You were like a Grandpa to us. Im thankful for all the good memories of you. All the laughter we had. We will forever cherish them. Thank you for adopting my family and treating us like we were your own. We love you buddy. Im sure your up their golfing, mowing and praising Jesus.
