I just dreamed about my Pastor, this was truly a legend of a man. One who loved God more than life itself and he loved the people of God and the heathens.
He fed the hungry, clothed the naked, and sat and talked with anyone who just wanted a friendly face, and one to pray with. He was preached the gospel of Jesus Christ, he believed in love with actions and not with words. The love I saw his display with his mom, wife, children, was remarkable. I believe that if God had let him live longer, he still would have remained faithful to God and gift of love and preaching the gospel, and his motto was "Preach and Use Words if you have to".
Once when we were giving out food at our church, Faith Community Baptist, my pastor had on some overalls and the man walked right pass him and said, can I speak to the Pastor, and I thought to myself, that is what love looks like, he did not make himself important, but labored with us and so we were all labors in the faith.
I miss you Pastor Harris and I pray that I make it there when God calls my name , that I too will wear a crown. Until we meet again, I love you
I too want to hear Christ say, Well done
