Megan, Brie, and Kate-
You are in my thoughts and every prayer. I know that you are somber and that your hearts are heavy right now, but find comfort in the fact that you were with him in his very last moments, and that he was surrounded by love as he left this world. Imagine the freedom that he now has, without cancer holding him down. He is working on all kinds of projects in Heaven without limitations...he is not only walking the streets of gold, but running and leaping through them. Nothing is holding him back! It is never easy, even if we know it is better for the person who is suffering. May God fill your hearts with peace and your minds with wonderful memories of the life that you had with him. There is no doubt that he loved each of you very much! The times that I saw the way he looked at each of you, I have no doubt that he was a proud husband and father. Your angel is now perched upon his cloud watching down on you for the rest of your lives. Love and hugs to each of you!
