May the Lord bless you and your family during this difficult time. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Jim was a wonderful Christian man and a great husband and father. I remember going to school and youth group with Kevin, Keith, Kent & Kristen. My dad, Roger Aldrich, passed away almost 12 years ago now from Parkinsons at the age of 73 which is way too young. Take comfort that Jim is now in a better place and is now in heaven with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

'Big Jim' will be remembered by me as a 'Mighty Man of God'. As a 12 year old boy in the Highland Park Baptist Church brigade program I learned what a gentle giant he was. You couldn't help but look up to him! That was true in more ways than one because to this day he remains an example and encouragement to me of a consistent life of faith as a father, husband, mentor and friend. I have been blessed to know his boys and daughter and watch them grow in there faith with their own spouses and children. God blessed you 'Big Jim' and those around you. Thank you for finishing strong! Dear Nancy and the rest of your loved ones are in our prayers. No doubt that the awesome God, that you are now privileged to be with, will be comforting and protecting them all in your absence.

Keith and family, Jim was a man of character and strength and had to be a first class example to your families next generation. Nancy, my heart goes out to you and time will heal the sorrow but you will never forget the wonderful memories of Jim.

Dearest Nast Family,
You're Husband, Father, and Grandfather was the true living salt and light, in this dark sinful world. He was a fine example of what it means to be a Christian and walk the Christian walk. Jim loved big, devoted himself to others needs and always made you feel like he truly cared about you and whatever you happen to be going through. He had a knack of always making you feel special. May God's awesome loving arms surround you all to help fill the huge void you are feeling. Jim will never be forgotten. All Our Love, Danny and Marilyn Young

Gail and I loved Jim. We cannot say it any other way. From our fun with Jim and Nancy in Barcelona to our work together as professionals, we formed a bond that went beyond our professional work. We will miss him immeasurably - for the fun times we've had together to the love we have for the entire Nast family. God bless Jim and the whole family. Roger and Gail Stalowicz

Dear Nancy and family, May our Dear Lord wrap his loving arms around all of you during this time of grieving. May you find peace in your hearts knowing that Jim is with our Lord now, and his suffering is over. Jim was a very pleasant, warm, loving person that will be forever in our memories.

We were saddened when we received the news of Jim's passing. However, it's comforting to know that he's now with the Lord and free from pain and suffering. We have fond memories of many-many times of fun and fellowship with you guys during the SCS years when our kids were growing up together. We are deeply sorry that we will not be able to attend the visitation and funeral because of being out of state in Indiana during the time of visitation and funeral. Nancy our prayer is for God to give you and the entire Nast family an abundant and extra measure of His peace and comfort as you transition to life here on earth with Jim in Heaven.

Dear Nancy and Family, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all at this time. I will never forget the whole Nast tribe walking down the aisle at Highland Park Baptist Church and taking your place in the pew every Sunday morning. I know Mr Nast will be dearly missed, but to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Laura Atkinson (Byl)
