The innate kindness and personal generosity of Mr. O'Grady has not left me, and never will. It is hard to believe it has been 7 years. Goodness lasts forever.

With his first instinct a selfless love for the person he was with, I often had the great fortune of feeling that special moment before Mr. O'Grady spoke, knowing he would measure his words to ensure that what he said would build up the listener, rather than himself. I have always, and will always, admire Mr. O'Grady as a role model not just for his Three boys, who are now good men, but for how a modern man can change the world if he carries within him the love of Christ. There is a Heaven, and he is there.

Dear Aunt Lynn, Jimmy, Tommy and Paul, Annie just let me know about Uncle Jim. I am so sorry that I don't live closer so that I could be with you now. Just last night I was moving some boxes and found one of my favorite pictures ever. It was when you, Uncle Jim and Grandma and Grandpa took us to see Santa at the Noth Pole (in upstate NY!!) I spent a long while remembering the times we spent together as a family. I loved being the only girl amongst us cousins at the time. It was very a special privilege. The Spaghetti Jungle, The cities, bridges and tunnels built in the dirt in Mrs O'Gradys beautiful extensive garden, Jimmy's own Mad Magazine, 9 course meals at Grandma and Grandpas' on Sunday when we didn't go home until Walt Disney was over, the Zenith TV that we couldn't sit too close to, passing on "the blood juice", Uncle Jim's pipe, Listening to Aunt Lynn tell stories from The Hits and Mrs club, concocting our own ice cream sodas, Grandma praying the rosary every car ride, me and Paul making our first Holy Communion, your cat Rosie, Playing football on the grass on the Bronx River Parkway, all amongst my most treasured memories. I am with you now as always in spirit. I love you and miss you and pray you are comforted by the many friends and family members who surround you. All my love, hugs and kisses, Mary
