Jimmy,
It has taken me a long time to write this because it has taken this long for me to come to terms of your loss. Sometimes I still don't believe it. I can not begin to explain what an influence you have been in my life. You lived your life with a dignity and I admired you for that. Like Jennifer said as weak as you were you never complained and you showed us all your strength. So many times you helped me, Joey and kids out and you could never be repaid enough for all you did to make our life what it was. My children are absolutely devastated by your loss - out of all the deaths in the last 2 years this has hit them hardest - they all felt as if they were your favorite - you made them feel that way. To this day the kids can not even speak about you without tearing up. I thank you for being a positive influence in mine and my childrens lives and the example that you set that even if life isn't fair that you still make the best of it and live everyday with honor and respect. I will never, ever forget you - thank you for being there for me my whole life my confidant, my finanacial advisor, my brother-in-law and my friend. Thank you for the uncle and friend you were to my children - I wish I could have told you this when you were with us and I regret that I didn't but somehow I think you knew how me and kids felt about you. You were loved - you will be missed and never forgotten.
Rest in Peace Jimmy
Love,
Vickie

To My Uncle Jimmy:
I will miss you so much.I remember you on Frankford Ave., when I was little.I use to play with Jimmy and Ryan, and you would play on the computer. Then, I remember when you would stay at my house for the weekends. Finally, you moved in almost as soon as Big Sam did.It was a little wierd at first. But I took to you quickly. You were there for me all the time. You were almost like the peer-meditator of the our house. We had very few arguements since you moved in.
Within the past couple of months we have gotten really close. When you first asked me to write for you on the computer at nights, I knew we would get closer.Never would I think that we would share everything we were feeling everyday. You would tell me stories about your past and how you use to be so independent.I knew it was hard for you to ask people for every single thing you wanted to do.Within the past couple of weeks I noticed you were getting lonley. You loved Tracy and you missed her a lot.I never minded writing all them people for you because you were getting so weak.I don't think anyone ever reliezed how much you suffered.
There are two things that I will never forget about you: 1)Your smile and the laugh to go with it.Anyone who knew you, knew about the really loud laugh when you would slap the side of the arms on your chair, or the silent laugh when you really couldn't catch your breathe. 2)How easy you were to talk to, you never judged anyone for anything.I loved our conversations.
You ment a lot to this family!Everytime I think of you, I picture being in the living-room and you screaming at the t.v..Also, that voice you would make when you were yelling someones name.I promise to keep in touch with Jimmy,Ryan, and even Joe.He really misses you.Even Sonny has been upset. He hasn't been being himself.
I Know you were saved so I believe your in heaven with Tracy,Grandmom,Uncle Bob, and Carmen. You are walking and your not in anymore pain.
Thank You Uncle Jim, for buying me roses for my birthday and being such a good uncle, dad, son, brother, and nephew. Please, watch over everyone and pray for us up there.Tell Uncle Bob and Grandmom that I love you all and I will see you all up there someday.
I LOVE YOU, UNCLE JIM!
Never Forget About Me!
