James Sean Roberts Jr.

James Sean Roberts Jr. "Pooh" entered heaven's gate on September 25, 2022. He was born at University Hospital in New Orleans, LA on August 22, 2001, to Gail Roberts and the late James Sean Roberts Sr. James graduated from Warren Easton Charter High School on May of 2020. He would then enroll at Delgado and then transfer to The Southern University and A&M College, where he was a student recruiter and was working on becoming an Engineer. James was previously employed at Bayou Nissan of New Orleans. James leaves to cherish fond memories: Grandmothers Dorothy Akers and Florita Johnson, brother Justin Akers, sisters Justine Roberts and Tamecia Jackson, niece Justice Akers, nephew, Justin Akers Jr., pet (son) Zeus Amiri Roberts, girlfriend Anfernya (Judith) Figueroa, aunts Sonya A. Pembrick, Shannell A. Taylor, Cyntiana F. Akers, Mona Washington and Lisa Madison, Uncle/Godfather Roland Pembrick, Jonathan Akers, Lathan Madison, Brandon Roberts, Brian Johnson. A slew of cousins, friends, and extended family that will also miss him dearly. James was greeted in heaven by his beloved father James Sean Roberts, Sr., grandfather George June Akers Jr., uncles George June Akers III and John Derrick Akers, and aunts, Maria Roberts and Lolita Roberts. Service will be held at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L.B. Landry Avenue, New Orleans 70114 on Saturday, Oct. 8 beginning 10:00 am. Rev. Gary Bailey, Sr., officiating.
